The basement!

Okay, so we had Dave and Steph stay at our house this week-end. Them coming motivated me to finish up the cleaning in my basement. So, those of you who haven't ever seen my basement can't fully appreciate how it looks now, but let's just say it was storage for 3 computers, extra couch, clothes, and basically whatever else you can imagine. :)

This is the spare bedroom, that is finally functional as a bedroom.

After the carpet cleaning tomorrow, it should be ready to be put on the market!

These kids!

Julie loves to draw! This picture is for her cousins. The "words" she wrote at the bottom say," This is for my cousins, I want to be nice to you, that is why I drew this for you, I love you."This hairdo took 45 minutes in the bathroom to do. :)
We have been talking about brushing the back of her hair, not just the front. She is showing me that she was listening to me when I was talking. That is refreshing. :P

Noah has to wear his dinosaur underwear backwards, because if it is on right he can't see the dinosaur.
Every time he runs by it makes me smile!
Our happy little Tinkerbell.
Gabe getting warm under the blanket Gram got him at Christmas!

Miss Julie is recovering from a double ear infection. She woke up the other night saying," Mom, something hurts me. " I asked her what hurt and she said," Mom, you don't need to know everything!" It was 1:30 in the morning and I kept trying to get her to tell me what hurt and that is the only answer I got. I guess it must have been her ears, but who knows!

Walking like an Egyptian and Treadmill fun!

Okay, so when Julie was walking like an Egyptian, I had to take a picture. I have seen a picture of Toby when he was little, walking like an Egytian. It totally reminded me of that! Here is my handsome man with his new sunglasses! Sorry girls, he is very taken!
So, we are trying to work out more and use our treadmill. I went first and then Toby went. When Toby started running, Noah went in there and was saying,"Go Daddy, Go Daddy." It was to precious. Toby liked it!

And of course, when we were done the kids had to "exercise" too.

Belle just sat and watched eating the strap of the camera.

He is my little sweetheart! He is always saying something sweet and encouraging to me.
Here is an action picture of Toby running.
Noah is waiting for it to start. Yes, it was the slowest speed and daddy held his hand while it was going.

I hope everyone has a great day! Happy Birthday, Luke! I hope you have a great year!

Friends

So we had Leah and her kids over to play. Eli and Noah are good buddies. Jacy and Julie are quite good friends as well. We played in the front yard. Ate delicious pizza that they brought. (Thank you, Leah) We also walked to the park and had a great time!
Here is Eli riding the motorcycle.
The kids eating at the "kid's" table.
So we arrived at the park and they were off to the races!
I don't think she had any fun at all!
Here is Gabe pushing them all. Noah and Eli liked the slow speed.
Belle hung out and looked super cute!
Eli loved the slide!
The guys were climbing on the giraffe. I am not sure why Noah is crying.
Of course, we had to get on the swings.
He is getting so big and handsome!
Our JuJuBee!
I had to post this picture. Is there anything more precious that a little boy in overalls and bare feet?
Not sure what Leah is thinking about, but I am glad that I wasn't getting that look! :)

Our adventure wore us all out, but Miss Belle was the first to crash.
We sure do love her!
Leah, Eli and Jacy, thank you guys for bringing lunch and coming and playing. We love you guys so much. Glad you are part of our family! :)

Seven months old and playing outside!

Our little Belle is 7 months old! She is such a sweet little girl! I found some pictures of my mom as a baby and they look almost identical.
Yes, Gabe still loves her!She looks chunky to us, but is just a little squirt at 13 pounds.
Finally! It is warm enough to go play comfortably outside!

Julie was telling me how her scooter was going sooo fast!
Noah thought he was something else on his bike. He cracked us up!
Gabe, who is getting so big! The sun is in his eyes.
Do they get any cuter that this?
Julie in all of her style, riding her scooter.
We also were playing with our playdoh and we all made ourselves fingernails. Here are Noah's.

Here is our little model, Jules, with her nails.
Yes, even mom and Gabe made nails. Only daddy didn't. Hmm, wonder why. :)
